“Project Revolution”
(Sportbike & Cruiser Segments)
METRIC REVOLUTION MOTORCYCLE BUILD OFF
(Season II)
Project Revolution
(PR) is a 2 minute segment within each of the 13 episodes of The
“Metric Revolution Motorcycle Build Off.” Project Revolution
(PR) will take a stock Kawasaki 2007 Ninja ZX14 and A stock Suzuki
M109R motorcycle and customize it with aftermarket parts that are easy
to install, and available for bikes from multiple manufacturers. Each
episode will feature a new addition to the motorcycle with the final
episode ending in a customized motorcycle that is both unique, and
functional.
The attraction to this segment will be
the fact that anyone that has basic knowledge of tools and mechanics can
DO these customizations in their own garage. These
customizations unlike the complex ones shown on the build off bikes are
something that virtually anyone can do. The products used for
customizing will also be parts that are manufactured for several
different types of motorcycles so that it has appeal across many
platforms. Ex. “Today we are adding the Pig Stopper mirrors to a 2007
Ninja ZX14 that are also available for GSX-R’s, CBR’s and the Yamaha R1.
